Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Cresco collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Cresco mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent, Cresco will obtain or rely on consent or another lawful basis as required.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information when you create an account or use Cresco.

a) Information You Provide

  • Name or display name
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Sport
  • Reason for using the App
  • Habit tracking data, routines, goals, and performance inputs
  • Group name and description when you create a group
  • Group membership information when you join using an invite code or invite link
  • Information you choose to provide when contacting Cresco by email, including reports about users, groups, or conduct

b) Automatically Collected Information

  • Device type and operating system
  • App usage and technical activity
  • Logs, diagnostics, crash information, and performance information where collected by the services we use

c) Social & Group Feature Data

When you voluntarily join a Cresco group through an invite code or invite link, certain information is shared with other members of that group.

  • Your display name
  • Your sport
  • Your streak count
  • Your Total Score average used for group rankings and leaderboards
  • The date you joined the group
  • The groups you belong to and your role within them
  • Invite codes you generate or use
Other group members do not receive access through the Groups feature to your email address, date of birth, detailed sleep data, detailed recovery data, detailed nutrition data, or individual training inputs.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and operate Cresco
  • Create, authenticate, and manage your account
  • Store and display your habits, goals, routines, and performance tracking data
  • Calculate scores, streaks, trends, reports, and other App features
  • Enable group memberships, leaderboards, comparisons, and invite functionality
  • Display the limited group information described in Section 2(c) to members of groups you voluntarily join
  • Improve App performance, reliability, security, and user experience
  • Monitor technical usage and investigate bugs or service issues
  • Respond to support requests and reports submitted by email
  • Investigate suspected abuse, fraud, security incidents, or violations of Cresco rules
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
Cresco does not sell your personal information.

4. Data Storage & Security

Cresco uses cloud-based infrastructure and takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

Cresco relies on third-party service providers to operate and support the Service. These providers may process personal information on our behalf or in connection with features you choose to use.

  • Supabase — backend infrastructure, database, and authentication-related services
  • Google services — authentication, platform, technical, or other services used by Cresco
  • Apple services — authentication and platform services
  • Facebook / Meta services — login or related integrations used by Cresco
  • Resend — email delivery for certain Cresco communications and website contact messages
Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by services you choose to use.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • To other members of a group you voluntarily join, limited to your display name, sport, streak count, Total Score average, and group join date
  • To service providers that help us operate, secure, communicate through, or improve the Service
  • When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or legal process
  • When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of Cresco, our users, or others
  • When investigating abuse, fraud, security incidents, or reports submitted to Cresco
  • In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal requirements

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the Service, and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Group membership information is generally retained while you remain a member of the relevant group and as reasonably necessary afterward for operational, security, legal, or integrity purposes. Group and invite information may also be retained while the relevant group exists.

You can delete your Cresco account through the App’s Settings where that feature is available. You may also contact us regarding privacy or deletion requests at info@crescoteam.com. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights relating to your personal information. These may include the ability to:

  • Request access to personal information Cresco holds about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal exceptions
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and withdrawal is legally available
  • Ask questions about how your information is used, disclosed, or retained
  • Leave a group so that your group-shared information is no longer displayed through your active membership

9. Children’s Privacy

Cresco is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information in circumstances where we should not have done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The Groups feature is subject to the same age restriction.

10. International Data Transfers

Cresco and its service providers may process or store information in jurisdictions outside the province, state, or country where you live. As a result, personal information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities where legally required.

Where required by applicable law, Cresco takes appropriate steps in connection with cross-border processing and service-provider arrangements.

11. User Reports & Moderation

Users may report inappropriate behavior, users, groups, or group-related concerns by contacting Cresco at info@crescoteam.com.

When we receive a report, we may review the information provided and other information reasonably necessary to investigate the concern, protect users, enforce Cresco rules, or maintain the integrity of the Service.

Depending on the circumstances, Cresco may take appropriate action, which can include warnings, removal from a group, restrictions on features, suspension, or termination of an account. We do not intentionally disclose the identity of a reporting user to the reported user unless disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary in exceptional circumstances.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Cresco, our practices, technology, or applicable requirements.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, website, email, or another appropriate method. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
